You know what this is?
You know why that's awesome? Because my co-worker, Sue, stood on a Portland street corner for who knows how long, waiting for me to run past. She, Jen, Kate, Amy and Evan cheered as I ran past, then she printed and framed this photo for me.
I had no idea they'd be out there, and when I realized that woman in yellow at the end of the street was Sue, I was thrilled! You can't tell here, but I'm smiling big in this picture, and that's why!
I have good friends :)
PS - Sue and Jen did the same thing for my very first marathon, though without the surprise part. That was honestly one of that day's highlights :)
