No. 18

Book no. 18 of the year was Pipsqueak by Brian M. Wiprud. I think Eryn gave it to me from a library-reject pile.

This book was very strange. The main character is a taxidermist in NYC who gets tangled up in a crazy cult scheme to take over the world. And all the action surrounds a stuffed squirrel puppet who starred in a children's show back in the day.

I wasn't really impressed. It was a bit tedious, and the author kept using really big non-conversational words that made me think he was trying a bit too hard.

Not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it.
