I love Sherm, my bike, with all its lights and bags and reflectors and gadgets. Sherm makes me happy. I use it most days to commute to school, hauling all kinds of crap back and forth.
Right before Christmas, I procured a couple boxes for wrapping gifts. I carefully packed them, thinking they would slide right in my pannier. But they were barely too big. I didn't panic - I just got creative.
I unpacked and reorganized my load, grabbed the bungee cord I always keep for such emergencies and got it done! I laughed at my hobo-like load and then, of course, took pictures to memorialize the event :)
I got some funny looks riding home, but those boxes ended up being perfect for my wrapping needs. WOOHOO :)
