Our deck is officially ready for summer!
We recently purchased new Adirondack-style chairs so we can lounge on the deck and read and enjoy the view of our beautiful back yard.
I've always wanted a fire pit, but we decided long ago that it's just too dangerous in our heavily treed deck/yard. But we started thinking that a propane-powered fire could be safe - no flying sparks and embers.
And while it's not exactly the same as a beautiful, fragrant wood fire, it's really nice!
We picked up this one at Costco (we later discovered they have them at Bi-Mart, too!) and immediately put it to use.
The temp's a bit high for a fire right now, but we did get out there a couple evenings to enjoy the warmth and cozy flames :)
